Se sei dotato di casse audio passive, quindi senza amplificatore interno, ci sono due strade: una consiste nel dotarsi di un amplificatore o finale di potenza esterno e quindi di un mixer passivo; l’altra, invece, prevede l’utilizzo di un mixer amplificato.
Quali sono i vantaggi di un mixer amplificato? Sicuramente il vantaggio principale offerto da tali mixer si concretizza in cavi in meno da collegare e meno apparecchiature da trasportare dal momento che il finale di potenza è incluso all’interno del mixer. Ciò che devi valutare sono le potenze in uscita. In genere per non far aumentare le dimensioni del mixer e anche per questioni di surriscaldamento, le potenze audio offerte non sono mai eccessive e si mantengono sempre all’interno di un certo range.
